Pumpkin spice season is here, and with it, the annual debate: who makes the best PSL? Before you default to a big chain, we decided to do the research to find the best, most authentic Pumpkin Spice Latte from a local London cafe that’s worth your money.

How We Picked the Winners

To settle the debate, we didn’t just rely on our own taste buds. We went straight to the source: you. We spent hours combing through local Google reviews and social media posts to see which cafes Londoners themselves are raving about this fall. This isn’t just our list; it’s your neighbours’ list.

Here are the top three that stood out.

1. Black Walnut Bakery Cafe

The Black Walnut has been a London hub for over a decade.

As of the 2025 season, the original Wortley Village location was closed after a fire. The downtown spot on Richmond Row kept serving the baked goods and specialty coffees.

4.6 stars on Google. Reviewers called the fall latte “autumn in a cup, not just a blast of sugar.”

  • Location: 529 Richmond St, London, ON
  • Hours: 7 AM – 6 PM Daily
  • Parking: Metered street parking on Richmond St. and nearby city lots.

Their baking menu changes daily, so check their Instagram for today’s irresistible lineup before you go: Black Walnut Instagram

2. Locomotive Espresso

Locomotive Espresso is for people who want good coffee without the frills.

It is minimalist, and built on technical coffee. They make all their own syrups in-house, a detail coffee people mention every fall.

That gives you a PSL that still tastes like coffee, not just a sweet drink. Good spot for a quiet conversation.

  • Location: 408 Pall Mall St, London, ON
  • Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM Weekdays, 9 AM – 4 PM Weekends
  • Parking: Small dedicated parking lot and some street parking available.

3. 10Eighteen Coffee Bar

10Eighteen is a community hub in Old East Village.

Reviewers on social media mention the “cozy vibe” and “amazing staff” alongside the creative drink menu.

They call the PSL the comfort drink for a cool fall day. Go here to feel connected to the neighbourhood.

  • Location: 1018 Dundas St, London, ON
  • Hours: 8 AM – 6 PM Daily
  • Parking: Metered street parking on Dundas St.
